Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), you will be warmly welcomed by your Safari Touch Tanzania representative. After assistance with immigration and luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel or starting point of your safari or Kilimanjaro adventure. This marks the beginning of your unforgettable Tanzanian experience, with scenic drives through lush landscapes and local villages en route.

Day 2
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu 

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Lake Manyara National Park in the East African Rift Valley, a journey of approximately 2 hours. The park is dominated by the lake, attracting large colonies of water birds, including the striking pink flamingos, cormorants, pelicans, and storks — over 400 bird species in total.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, typically found in the central and open areas of the park. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and a variety of other wildlife. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Karatu – Tarangire National Park – Arusha

Depart early after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, home to one of the largest elephant populations in Northern Tanzania. The park also hosts lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and many other species.

Marvel at the ancient baobab trees, especially those clustered in the north-eastern sector, and enjoy the park’s diverse landscapes. After an exciting day of game drives, return to Arusha in the late afternoon, bringing with you unforgettable safari memories.

Day 4
Departure

At the end of your safari or Kilimanjaro journey, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) in time for your departure flight.
