Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), you will be warmly welcomed by your Safari Touch Tanzania representative. After assistance with immigration and luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel or starting point of your safari or Kilimanjaro adventure. This marks the beginning of your unforgettable Tanzanian experience, with scenic drives through lush landscapes and local villages en route.

Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu 

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha at 07:00 AM and transferred to Tarangire National Park for your first safari adventure. Known for its vast baobab trees, large mammal population, and diverse birdlife, Tarangire also hosts one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania.

After an exciting day of game viewing, you will be transferred to your lodge in Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 3
Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the beautiful highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Serengeti’s endless plains, arriving in time for lunch. The Seronera area is rich in wildlife, with the Seronera River attracting many species, making it one of the park’s most productive game viewing areas.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive, then transfer to your tented camp for overnight.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, spend a full day on safari in the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while observing the incredible wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson’s gazelles moving across the plains.

The migration also attracts predators, so with luck, you might witness lions, leopards, or cheetahs hunting. Return to your lodge for overnight.

Day 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start early with a morning game drive at dawn, when wildlife is most active. Return to camp for breakfast, then enjoy another game drive in the Seronera region, often featuring close encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, and zebras.

After a picnic lunch, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its lush slopes and vast savannahs, where you may encounter the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, along with zebras, wildebeests, hippos, warthogs, and over 500 bird species.

Following a morning game drive and picnic lunch, depart in the early afternoon for Arusha, arriving in the early evening.

Day 7
Departure

At the end of your safari or Kilimanjaro journey, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) in time for your departure flight. Your Safari Touch Tanzania team will ensure a smooth check-in and airport assistance, giving you the opportunity to reflect on your adventure-filled days and the memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, culture, and stunning landscapes before your onward journey.
