This marks the beginning of your unforgettable Tanzanian experience, with scenic drives through lush landscapes and local villages en route.

Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha at 07:00 AM and transferred to Tarangire National Park for your first safari adventure. Known for its vast baobab trees, large mammal population, and diverse birdlife, Tarangire also hosts one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania.

After an exciting day of game viewing, you will be transferred to your chosen  lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3
Tarangire National Park – Lake Natron

After breakfast, depart from Mto wa Mbu and travel to Lake Natron. Your journey takes you along a spectacular and bumpy gravel road along the Rift Valley Escarpment, with Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Holy Mountain” of the Maasai, visible in the distance. Today’s destination is the traditional Maasai village of Ngare Sero, set in the hot and dusty Rift Valley.

Along the way, you may catch glimpses of flamingos feeding and breeding on the lake. As the sun begins to set, join a Maasai guide for a walk to a nearby waterfall to enjoy the natural beauty and unique scenery. Return to your campsite for dinner and overnight at your chosen Lodge.

Day 4
Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, continue your adventure along dirt tracks with breathtaking views, climbing out of the Rift Valley toward the grassy plains of the Serengeti, arriving by midday. The name Serengeti means “endless plains” in Maasai, and you will experience vast grasslands dotted with grazing wildlife stretching to the horizon.

The Serengeti is renowned worldwide as the site of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move in search of fresh pasture and water, creating one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena. After an afternoon of game viewing, transfer to your lodge in the northern Serengeti for overnight.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, spend a full day on safari in the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while observing the incredible wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson’s gazelles moving across the plains.

The migration also attracts predators, so with luck, you might witness lions, leopards, or cheetahs hunting. Return to your lodge for overnight.

Day 6
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start early with a morning game drive at dawn, when wildlife is most active. Return to camp for breakfast, then enjoy another game drive in the Seronera region, often featuring close encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, and zebras.

After a picnic lunch, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight.

Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Explore this unique ecosystem, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and mountain reedbucks in the forested slopes. You may also encounter buffaloes, spotted hyenas, and over 500 bird species. After an extensive morning of wildlife viewing, enjoy a picnic lunch before driving back to your lodge in Karatu for the night.

Day 8
Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

Begin your day with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but spectacular park renowned for over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, and open grassy plains. Marvel at colonies of flamingos on the alkaline lake, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas across the plains. Lions are often seen lounging in the trees, while elephants feed on acacia woodlands. The forest near the lake is alive with blue monkeys and baboon troops along the roads. After an exciting game drive, continue your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 9
Departure

At the end of your safari or Kilimanjaro journey, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) in time for your departure flight.
